We are using costing based COPA and want to use Top down distribution approach based on reference values.
I want to know step by step ,what config is required for the same. I want to apply this in following
1) COPA Planning
2) COPA cost center assessment
Let me put what I have done so far in respect of COPA planning and assessment
Planning level, package ,Planning profile, layout, parameter set etc have been configured and working fine.
I have 2 characteristics (say Brand & Division) along with standard characteristics i.e. company code, controlling area defined at planning level.
So, through excel integration , system is posting the plan figures to value fields and available for brand and Division as a drill down in the report.
Now my requirement is I want to distribute it further to another 4 levels say for e.g. Segment ,Product group, vertical and product wherein segment and vertical are user defined characteristic. I have configured derivation rule for the same and also working fine for rest of the transactions i.e.when billing documents are posted.
The same is the case with Cost center assessment cycles wherein the receivers are Brand and Division and I want to distribute it further to the levels I mentioned above.
I want to use revenue as a base for planning in both the cases i.e. planning and assessment. Can we use SKF also? If so, please guide me.
Please let me know the step by step config steps and also want to know how the system distribute the values to rest of the characteristics using top down distribution approach.
