I have created a few warehouse orders and assigned them to the outbound queue which I defined in the system. For the system issued warehouse orders to be used with RF transactions, it is necessary that the RF Flag is set to X. Is there some setting that I am missing to have the RF Flag set to X for a specific warehouse order?
Just to give you an idea of the sequence of steps I verified to see if the system is working is as follows:
1. Open the EWM monitor (/SCWM/MON) and check if your warehouse orders have a queue. In monitor use menu path ‘Documents’ -> ‘Warehouse Order’.
a) If no queue is found set up customizing (SPRO) in path ‘Extended Warehouse Management’ -> ‘Cross-Process Settings’ -> ‘Resource Management’ -> ‘Define Queues’. Then create new warehouse orders and check again in monitor for queue
b) If queue is found, write down the queue.
2. In monitor path ‘Resource Management’ -> ‘Resource’ check if your resource has a resource group.
a) If not set up master data in Easy Access menu ‘Extended Warehouse Management’ -> Master Data’ -> ‘Maintain Resource’. If necessary please maintain also ‘Maintain Resource Group’ and ‘Maintain Queue Sequence for Resource Group’
b) If your resource has a resource group write it down.
3. In monitor path ‘Resource Management’ -> ‘Resource’ check if your resource has a resource type.
a) If not set up master data in Easy Access menu ‘Extended Warehouse Management’ -> Master Data’ -> ‘Maintain Resource’. If necessary please maintain customizing ‘Extended Warehouse Management’ -> ‘Cross-Process Settings’ -> ‘Resource Management’ -> ‘Define Resource Types’
b) If your resource has a resource type write it down.
4. Check in monitor ‘Resource Management’ -> ‘Resource Group’ if the resource group contains the queue of the warehouse order
a) If not set up master data in Easy Access menu ‘Extended Warehouse Management’ -> Master Data’ -> ‘Maintain Queue Sequence for Resource Group’
b) If the resource group contains the queue continue with step 5.
5. Enter your queue in monitor ‘Resource Management’ -> ‘Queue’ and execute selection. Press button ‘Warehouse Order’ to display the warehouse orders in the queue. Select the warehouse order and press button ‘WO-RsrcType Idx’. Now you see which resource types can process this warehouse order.
a) If there are no entries at all please set up customizing mentioned in 3.
b) If the resource type of your resource is not in this list either change the customizing in 3. Or change the resource type in your resource in Easy Access menu mentioned in 3.
c) If the resource type of your resource is in the list check if ‘Status’ is initial and ‘RF Exec.’ is ‘X’.
